For Coinbase’s “New Day One” keynote and the launch of its product Base, we are aiming to produce a comprehensive set of motion assets and visual content for both virtual and in-person experiences.
Guided by the art director and animation lead, I contributed as an animator to establish a consistent visual language, including pattern animations, lower thirds, and video editing that carried the keynote narrative forward, supporting each speaker and transition with rhythm and clarity.
Deliverables:
The goal was to preserve the brand’s core identity while translating its visual language from small digital interfaces to a large stage environment, creating a cohesive, immersive, and engaging experience for the audience. During the early stages, I explored pattern-based animation and distortion techniques to evaluate how motion could communicate visual information clearly while avoiding unnecessary distraction.
