In Summer 2025, I worked with directors at Cycymymy on visual work celebrating Pride in Jersey City. The project supported New Jersey’s 33rd Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration, one of the largest and longest-running Pride events in the state, typically drawing over 20,000 attendees.
Through exploration and iteration, the design emphasized bold flag-pattern animations as the expressive core, paired with restrained, powerful typographic motion to maintain clarity and visual strength.
Deliverables:
The application emphasizes direct visual communication through bold, intuitive imagery. Distorted flag motifs were used as a dynamic graphic element, while bold, clean typography provided structural clarity and visual impact. Together, these elements reinforce legibility while preserving expressive energy within the system.

The project aimed to highlight the spirit of Pride. During the design phase, I explored a range of visual directions before converging on a final solution shaped through collaboration with the directors.
